Papa Jon's Cafes, (Honten (075) 415-2655 and Kitayama (075 711-6401 famous for it's authentic New York Cheesecake, coffee drinks and light meals has recently opened a new cafe/restaurant "Papa Jon's Eatery" at Shinpukan Kyoto (075-211-1600). Where we still make the best cheesecakes this side of Sekigahara and have added a menu of soups, salads, quiche, pizza etc. for lunch and light meals and dinner plates (chicken parmesan, etc. for hungry folk. All reasonable all good. WIne, cocktails, draft beer, daily specials. Jeans clad casuals, Kimono garbed princesses, wedding gowned transvestites, clowns, those of the Jewish persuasion and Botswanian flutists welcome.
