ORNAMIN - family tableware.

Anywhere people come together, family begins – be it round the family dining table, in business production or in the refectory. It goes without saying that everyone’s part of the family: large, small, old, young, with or without a disability, no one should be absent or left out. That is why for its family tableware Ornamin develops and provides useful and universally designed products, helping people and sustainably protecting our environment. As a medium-sized, independent family business we know the meaning of family and its members. Our attractively designed eating and drinking aids – from non-slip bread and butter boards to thermal mugs – enable young and old to independently take part in family life. With roughly 120 members of staff at our headquarter in the Westphalian town of Minden, we develop ideas and end-to-end solutions for our customers, creating production-ready products from thermoplastics and composite materials. Together we generate an annual turnover of approximately 13 million euros. Our products are genuine examples of high-quality workmanship and one hundred percent “Made in Germany”.

The Ornamin family also includes our independent subsidiary: the Instore-Marketing GmbH.

Beside ORNAMIN family tableware we also mass produce tableware for company canteens, hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, day-care centres, schools and universities. Our best example: The refectory at the University of Bielefeld. The “Culinar” tableware series is used by 6,000 people on a daily basis and won the iF-Design Award in 2015.

Furthermore we are also a partner in the branded goods industry with customised plastic parts. From display systems to coffee machines, hi-fi accessories to dental engineering – our team of engineers and product designers and the materials and production methods we use make a valuable contribution to the aesthetics, precision and reliability of our customers’ brands.
