Fairstone Group was formed in 2007 in Newcastle upon Tyne and is privately owned, with significant backing from a UK based private equity syndicate (Committed Capital), a North East based venture capital company (Northstar Ventures) and a Swiss based family office.

The Group, which has offices in London, Bristol, Newcastle and Edinburgh, operates in both the retail and corporate sectors of the financial services industry, and has over 180 independent financial advisers based the length and breadth of the UK.
