Simon, the brainchild of SJ Catering, has worked in many catering establishments for over 20 years including Hotels, Restaurants and Cafe's. While working in such establishments, Simon noticed a need for a good quality catering service in East Anglia which can offer a delivery of a variety of foods for your event whether it being in your own home or a venue of your choice.

After attending many corporate meetings and training events in many different locations he was not at all impressed with the quality, variety and freshness of the buffet lunch which was provided.

With this he decided to offer a buffet service to small and large businesses with the emphasis on providing fresh local produce of the best quality to suit your business requirements. Simon can provide the catering for:

Simon also decided to offer a similar service to the general public the opportunity of providing any catering requirements they may have. This includes catering for:

• Celebratory Parties e.g. Birthdays, Christening and Retirement

• Receptions e.g. Weddings, Civil Ceremonies and Funeral/Wakes

• Christmas Parties

• Breakfast Meetings

Another great idea from Simon is his personal chef services; for example, catering for customers dinner parties in their own home.

The concept of the personal chef services is to ensure customers can sit and relax with their guests without having continuously leave the table and spend time in the kitchen. Customers can engage with their guests without the need to leave the table, ensuring nobody misses out on any vital gossip!

Simon meets with the customer on a one to one basis and discusses menu choices. This could be a 3, 4 or even 5 course meal .

Once all discussions and decisions have taken place, Simon arrives at your home on your big day, sets the table, cooks and serves the meal and best of all, cleans up the kitchen as if nothing has happened!!

The cost of the event is tailored to the customers budget, menu choices and numbers of people.
