Mindfulness is the key to being accepting of yourself and others and of your world and hence it's highly beneficial for self-development. We can practice mindfulness whenever we want, it's just a case of remembering to!

A great time to be mindful is with the skincare we use and how we use it. Natural and organic is ostensibly the way to go from a practical perspective but what if there was a skincare line that promoted mindfulness in how the products are actually used?

The added therapeutic benefits essential oils have to offer mean that those moments we do get to practise mindfulness become that bit more meaningful.

When I'm moisturising myself head to toe after a relaxing bath, I'm allowing the essential oils to get to work by taking deliberately slow, deep breaths to enjoy their aroma. I consciously take a moment to be present with myself, thoughts on checking in, seeing how I feel. This is practising mindfulness, being present, observing my thoughts, feelings and sensations as they happen but also just letting them all go.
