Periwinkle and Clay is the home to the gorgeous, tactile kiln-fired clay photo tile displays. Each piece is made to order by this one Mum band (Hi, I'm Claire, Eliza's Mummy) just for you.

The story of Periwinkle and Clay began in 2012, when I was inspired to make a photo tile piece for my sister. She was using Instagram to capture photos and moments from her daughter's first year. I'd been working with clay for a while, and one evening thinking about Christmas gifts, I had the idea of transferring her Instagram photos onto tiles. I mounted them onto a canvas as a special Christmas gift which my sister still displays proudly at home.

Very quickly, family and friends wanted their own pieces created and before long I was making people smile with beautiful personalised clay tile photo frames. I enjoy creating pieces that I know people will treasure and will smile at often.
