Welcome to the Festival of Imagineers, Coventry’s vibrant celebration of art, design and engineering in the heart of the industrial Midlands. Over six days the city will come alive with artists, designers, architects and engineers coming together in a free family friendly celebration of creative ingenuity. This is an opportunity for residents and visitors to imagine, make and be inspired as The Festival of Imagineers transforms city spaces and streets through a dynamic and unique series of residencies, talks, workshops, visits and outdoor performances over six days where art, design and engineering meet. Over the next 5 years Imagineer has ambitious plans to build the FOI into a major international festival in 2021, where people will come together to imagine the impossible and wonder at the extraordinary creations at the intersection of engineering and art. FOI 2017 is the first step along this journey.
