Raffaele Candilio Bespoke and Alteration Tailors is a family run business, taking its name from the late Raffaele Candilio.

Raffaele Candilio was born in the province of Napoli, in 1938, to Angelina Esposito and Luciano Candilio. He was one of 7 children.

He came to England in 1957, intending to stay for a year in order to lean English. However, his plans changed when he met and fell in love with Rosemary Yeatman, who was later to become his wife.

Following Raffaele Candilio’s death in April 2015, the business was taken over by his daughter, Maria Elena Candilio.

Both ladies and gentlemen are catered for.

Clients include: gentlemen’s outfitters, film stars, pop icons, celebrities, members of the clergy.
