Bridgewater is a growing, vibrant 0-11 school in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Our unique setting provides quality childcare, education and a range of extended services to the community it serves; Surestart is also based on site. It is an exciting time for Bridgewater and Scotswood as it is in a phase of regeneration, new houses and community facilities will be built in the next few years, as well as enhancements made to the school. The school continues to go from strength to strength and Ofsted recently recognised that the school was ‘rapidly improving’ and that, ‘the school goes the extra mile for the children’.
