Fish & Chips has been a way of life for the Miller family for over 75 years. Nick Miller’s great-grandfather started things off by opening the first family fish & chip shop during WW2. Miller’s Fish & Chips in Haxby has been run by the Millers for over 50 years, first by grandfather Jim Miller who had a string of fish & chip shops across Yorkshire, then for 30 years by Nick’s father David Miller. Throughout the years the shop has been loved by generations of local families as the community has grown and changed over time. Miller's Fish & Chips has held the renowned five star Fish & Chip Quality Award since 1997 and are the current NE regional winners of the 2017 Independent Takeaway Of The Year Award.
