Royal Oak was established in 1977 as Kent Traditional Furniture by Paul and Janet Kent.

All our furniture ranges are hand-crafted in our Yorkshire Dales workshop in Grassington.

Furniture making is a skill that has been passed down from generation to generation. Combining age old techniques and modern technology, using the finest quality wood, superb design and an eye for detail, the craftsmen at Royal Oak Furniture produce the finest Traditional and Contemporary English Oak furniture in the country.

We are committed to only using timber from a sustainable and managed environment. All the wood shavings and dust from our workshop are collected by the extraction system and used to heat the workshops along with the small offcuts of wood that are not suitable for furniture making.
