A family run zoo with over 198 different species of mammals, birds and reptiles from all around the world. Lots to see and do and if you want to really get up close, take part in one of our 3 daily handling sessions, feed the lemurs or book in advance to be a zoo keeper for a half or full day. Daily keeper talks that coincide with feeding times of a range of animals. Lots of new areas including walk through bird aviary, wallaby walkabout and large enclosure for our meerkats/cranes and giant tortoise. Large indoor reptile house with over 40 species and petting area with rabbits, guinea pigs and pygmy goats. Large outdoor play area for kids, great for birthdays, picnic area, cafe and gift shop. All on one level, with disabled access and facilities. Free parking. New for summer 2017 indoor soft play + large restaurant.
