B M Howarth Ltd was established in 1989 by Chris Bell and Roy Moorby, under the trading name of Bell Moorby Chartered Accountants. Thanks to their experience in a number of accounting sectors, the practice grew rapidly.

A number of key business manoeuvres established our firm as a substantial local practice that employs 50 specialised professionals. This included the acquisition of K W Howarth in 1994, the recruitment of Simon Denny in 2001, and the acquisition of Matthews, Brooke, Taylor & Co in 2004.
