The Kip McGrath Education Centre, based in Thornliebank near Giffnock in East Renfrewshire opened in 2005 and has successfully built up an excellent local reputation for tutoring local students in English and maths, achieving wonderful results. As qualified teachers with experience in teaching in local schools and Curriculum for Excellence, our maths and English tutors help every child improve academically based on their own, individual learning needs.

Unlike some other tutoring centres, we are highly experienced teachers who teach our students according to their individual needs. We do not issue Maths or English sheets and leave the child to get on with it. Other commonly used tutoring methods may help children learn their times tables for example but we feel it is important that problem solving skills and fundamental understanding of every level is understood.

Following an initial free assessment, we will create an individual lesson plan and concentrate on specific areas of weakness following the school curriculum.
