Birmingham Community Healthcare (BCHC) NHS Foundation Trust provides a wide range of high quality, accessible and responsive community and specialist healthcare services across the city of Birmingham and the wider West Midlands region.

Operating from around 300 sites across the city, BCHC offers more than 100 different healthcare services for adults and children, providing clinical diagnosis, treatment, advice and support on more than two million separate occasions in a typical 12-month period.

In addition to core services delivered flexibly in homes and other community settings, BCHC operates a range of inpatient sites including Moseley Hall and West Heath hospitals. The organisation’s specialist division comprises Birmingham Dental Hospital, West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre, citywide services for people with learning disabilities and a range of community dental services in Birmingham and the Black Country.

BCHC, which became an independent NHS Trust on 1st November, 2010, represents the bringing together of community health services across Birmingham alongside specialist services in neighbouring localities and the wider West Midlands region in a collective mission to deliver high quality accessible and responsive healthcare that meets the particular needs of the communities we serve with the flexibility to offer personalised care for each individual.
