HISTORY
Julien Fleury, young designer from La Chaux-de-Fonds sets in 2011 a watch brand with an audacious idea:
manufacture his timepieces exclusively in La Chaux-de-Fonds and in the surrounding area.

Aware of expertise and the fame of the suppliers of the Neuchâtel Mountains, he has decided to create a watch
represents his region DNA: La Chaux-de-Fonds. His first collection highlights codes referring to the traditional Swiss watches, displaying a modern and technical approach.

Julien was born and grew in La Chaux-de-Fonds, du Manège Street number 16-18 where he spends time, from his youngest age, in the watches parental company within the family building of 1853. He is the worthy successor of a watchmaking tradition for more than a century. His father is a micro-mechanic, his grand-father was a dialmaker and his great grand-father founded in 1930 the prestigious Montres Boillat Frères factory.

Young person, he wanted to be an architect because he was strongly influenced by Le Corbusier and the city
architecture. He spent hours to be amazed at frescoes and architecture of L’Ancien Manège, the classified historic building, being in the same square. Later, after these studies at the art school of la Chaux-de-Fonds, he decides to concretize the dream, his dream, without taking care of administrative and commercial constraints: design and produce the duManège watch.

Julien Fleury is an architect of the time combining with prowess design and horological conception with architecture and contemporary art.
