Chez Blackbird nous nous procurons, nous torréfions et nous servons le café que nous aimons. Notre offre de café changera durant l'année, selon la saison mais aussi selon ce qui se produira de meilleur. Nous achetons notre produit et le torréfions chez nous, en petite quantité afin de garantir la meilleure qualité à chacune de nos torréfactions. De plus, nos machines sont testées chaque matin afin de nous assurer que tout café ait un goût divin.

Pour accompagner notre café, et afin de vous préparer pour la journée, nous avons développé le parfait menu de petit-déjeuner; toute la journée faites-vous plaisir avec nos options saines comme le "big banana shake" ou le muesli, ainsi que nos tartines et croissants, en passant par des omelettes et frittatas riches en protéine, jusqu'à nos pêchers mignons tels que notre sandwich œuf et bacon et nos sausage rolls.

At Blackbird we source, roast and serve the coffees we love. Our coffee offerings will change throughout the year, depending on what's in season and what tastes good. We buy and roast in-house, in small batches to ensure we bring out the best qualities in every roast, and we test our grinds each morning to make sure they taste heavenly.

To compliment our coffee we have developed the perfect all day breakfast menu to set your body up for the day; from our healthy big banana breakfast shake & muesli options through to croissants and tartines, to protein rich omelettes and frittatas to naughty treats such as our bacon and egg sandwiches and sausage rolls.

Blackbird is the second Swiss project of Rich and Jess Williams, the founders of Holy Cow! Gourmet Burger Company.

Rich and Jess's quest for inspiration for the perfect burger and concept development took them to many great cities over the past 6 years. Visiting innovative coffee houses for discussion and deliberation was a heavy part of their research trips. After selling Holy Cow! in March 2014, there was no doubt in their minds that the development of high quality home roasted coffee for the people of Lausanne would be their next venture.
