Chalet Amuse Bouche is situated in the pretty area of Montriond, one of the 12 resorts linked to the Portes Du Soleil. Montriond is connected to Morzine and is closest to the very fast Ardent telecabine (preferred by Morzine locals)

Here is why we think the location an excellent choice for your holiday winter or summer…

We can get you to the heart of the Avoriaz ski area 10-15 mins quicker than if you were staying in a central Morzine chalet.

8 minutes to the Ardent telecabine, which itself takes 4 minutes up to the beautiful Lindarets bowl. So you can be skiing IN LESS than 15 mins after leaving the chalet!

From Lindarets, you can access Avoriaz, Chatel and Mosettes ski areas in just 1 lift ride

No lifts are required to return to the Ardent! You can ski right down to the carpark where we will meet you and whisk you back to the Chalet for coffee and cakes, giving you time to also relax in the hot tub or sauna.

Alternatively we can drop you off and pick you up at the Pleney so that you access Morzine and Les Gets ski areas (120km and very pretty).

Non-skiiers can take the 4 minute Ardent telecabine up to meet their group for lunch in Lindarets if they wish, so that everyone can enjoy the mountain restaurants together.

You can be skiing in Switzerland with only 2 chairlifts from the Lindarets bowl!

Beginner skiiers can get to the lessons in Lindarets with no tricky chairlifts or pistes to navigate so they can keep their confidence intact.

It is only a 5 minute drive to Morzine or 2 minutes to Montriond. It’s quick and easy to visit town to go shopping, have dinner or visit the bars on our night off from cooking. We can offer a lift into town in the evening after dinner for those wishing to carry on the party outside of the chalet and you can get a taxi home in 5 mins.

You can walk to the bars and restaurants in Montriond Village in 10-12 mins and Morzine in 25-30 mins. In the summer you can take the very beautiful river route through the shaded wooded area either to the center of Morzine or to the indoor/outdoor swimming pools.

Also in the Summer, as well as all the great mountain walks, the chair lifts taking you across to Switzerland, and the enormous number of outdoor activities nearby, you can also walk along the river (away from the road) to Lac Montriond, which only takes approx 20 mins.

The views - Whilst relaxing in the hot-tub, the balcony or terraces at the back of the chalet, you can enjoy unobstructed views of Mont Chery and the surrounding area.

We are situated in a no through road, with no traffic noise or piste bashers grinding away whilst you try to sleep, so we feel that whilst you are in the heart of the Portes Du Soleil, you can relax in a tranquil environment whilst still being close enough to the buzz of Morzine.
